Kunming, Yunnan Province is known as ‘City of Eternal Spring’ or the “Spring City”. On weekends the mountains are frequented by many. There are numerous walking trails, temples, and pagoda’s to visit. It is a great place, we opted for a ride on the open chairlift, and on the way back got absolutely soaked. Now I know why the ladies always carry an umbrella. One; you don’t want to get darker under the sun and two; never know when it is going to rain!
