Day 355 – Phoenix.

Only 10 days left in Year through the Lens, and that will be another year complete.  A photo every day, taken wherever I’ve been in the last 12 months.  So can’t help but squeeze another one in of my special four legged friend.  Who I’m sure if could speak human words would never be quiet.  Plus tell me are we done yet?  He is a very patient model.  With quite funny ways; big 12 year old this year in June.  So in the four legged & our world, every day is a cherished one. :)

Day 328 – Waiting.

While we wait for the rain.  Some of mother nature’s wonders are waiting for something else to happen.  Nestled in the reeds of the freshwater lakes in town.  Mother Magpie Goose sits on her golden egg, waiting for the joy of young ones running around.  They can actually lay up to 16 eggs, average 8 eggs.  Now that is some instant family. :)

Day 324 – Eyes have it.

High in the trees around the city library.  Bats come to have a siesta while they wait for dusk to approach.  Hanging upside down, holding on, and flapping wings to keep cool, whilst trying to sleep is no mean feat.  Then their big brown eyes look down at you.  Yes, you can appreciate its middle of the day and yep you’re only trying to get cool.  But when looking up under a tree full of bats it’s a good thing they are upside down.  :)  :)  Have a fab weekend.  :)

Day 317 – Shadow dancer.

Dragonflies where dancing because it’s Friday.  They were gearing up for the weekend.  Hanging out at their favourite pond discussing what’s going to happen over the weekend.  Birthday’s to celebrate, sporting events to attend too, relaxation, catch a few bugs.  It’s all going off.  So whatever you have planned this weekend; enjoy.  :)

Day 314 – Flexibility.

I read a quote today; “Success is not the key to happiness.  Happiness is the key to success.  If you love what you are doing, you will be successful.” Wise words.  We all get a little caught up in the smaller things of life when there is a bigger picture going on in the foreground.  Sometimes we turn ourselves upside down, inside out to please everyone.  Bend over backwards to get it all done.  Maybe for at least 30 seconds today.  Cross those small things off the list because they don’t matter.  Enjoy what you have and get on with happiness.  Minus, bending into pretzel shape to please.  :)  :)  :)
