365 days = 365 photographs..rules of engagement; 1.I have to take a photo each day, no matter where I am and what I am doing. 2. Post it, when possible. Not all the places I will be visiting have access to the web; yes I know it is hard to believe but there are still some places like that exist, and they are amazing. 3. No photos from your film library can be used or posted..remember it isn't about the destination, but the journey that takes us there..enjoy. :)

Day 365 – It’s a wrap.
The very last day of 'a Year Through the Lens'. A photo taken each day, wherever I have been. Here in our own backyard of Cairns, QLD, Victoria, NSW, WA, TAS, China, Hong Kong, Myanmar, Thailand. It has been an adventurous year, and a year of many challenges. Australia and OS has many wonderful pockets to see and visit. Crystal Cascades only 20min from CBD nestled in the foot of the mountains is a beautiful place to hang out in the heat of the day. Light filtering in through the rainforest as blue dragonflies and orange butterflies pass through. Thank you for your wonderful support during the past year, your comments, and likes. It definitely helped to keep me going and get you something new every day. Now, it's time for a new project; so enjoy and big thank you. :)

Day 362 – Copperlode Dam.
Cairns water supply comes from Copperlode Dam located up in the Lamb Ranges just west of the CBD. A long winding road heads from suburbia through rainforest, breaking out onto the top of the mountain range. It sometimes goes by the name of Lake Morris too, after city engineer Mr F Morris who was assigned to find a suitable area for new water supply, for the city in 1935. Once found and paperwork complete; budget was 3 million, by the time it was completed in 1976 it had blown out to 6.5million. It is a beautiful place to rest and relax, after a wee stroll up the hill. :)

Day 361 – Nothing but sunshine.
Happy Easter everybody, and hope the Easter bunny was good to you today? For a change at Easter, the sun is putting on a brilliant show in the tropics. Normally rain comes and plays but this Easter it has stayed away. The temperature is beautiful and great time to be outdoors in the wide open spaces. Hello sunshine and tropical Easter it’s nice to be here.

Day 359 - Good Friday.
TGIF, and the start of a four day weekend. It also means a very holy day on the Christian calendar. Bare branches are giving way to new life on the trees outside the church. Set alight by afternoon sun. People sit inside and reflect what Easter means to them. Whatever your beliefs on this day; travel safe if taking off, for a four day adventure, treat each other with kind words, actions, be thankful for loving family and friends that surround you. Happy Easter everybody.

Day 358 – Stoney Creek Falls.
On the eve of Easter everybody is running around getting supplies and heading off for four day weekend. Yahoo. Camping is a very popular pastime of Easter getting away from the hustle and bustle of the cities, heading out into nature. Recent rain has the waterfalls running and creeks a little above a trickle. The rain may still be hanging around the mountains yet hope whatever you have planned over the break; have fun, travel safe, hope Easter Bunny finds you? :)
