Day 359 - Good Friday.

TGIF, and the start of a four day weekend.  It also means a very holy day on the Christian calendar.  Bare branches are giving way to new life on the trees outside the church.  Set alight by afternoon sun.   People sit inside and reflect what Easter means to them.  Whatever your beliefs on this day; travel safe if taking off, for a four day adventure, treat each other with kind words, actions, be thankful for loving family and friends that surround you.  Happy Easter everybody.

Day 357 – Pumping.

Riding in the tube of life, red blood cells travel around the body giving life of oxygen all over and removing the waste.  Without its function we would slowly die.  The wonderful thing about blood is that it doesn’t matter what the package is on the outside, we all have the same inside.  Red blood cells pumps along everyone’s highway of life regardless of who you are or where you are from?  Kind of neat when you think about it.

Day 352 – Hello rain.

One, it’s Friday, yeah.  Two, the rain has finally come to visit.  Who knows how long it will last, but today it falls down.  So it’s time to dance in the rain like nobody is watching.  Enjoy whatever you may have planned this weekend, and have a totally awesome weekend.  :)

Day 351 – Still building.

Autumn officially is here; yet I think the weather gods are still keeping it summer with the humidity and heat.  It’s been a long hot summer without rain.  But that is life in the tropics.  Peeking through the beach almond trees today, the clouds continue to build like the start of the wet season over the mountains.  Their leaves are starting to turn getting ready for winter.  Bring on winter I say, it is a magic time of the year.  We have no snow, hardly any rain (hence supposed wet season) beautiful mild temp’s still t-shirt weather.  So time to harden up and take the good with the bad.  But winter, please don’t forget to stop by.

Day 350 – Drifting.

A gentle breeze moves through the stands of her hair as she stands on the cliff.  Black clouds sit on the horizon.  Flashes of light move across the sky.  Clouds ring out and echo through the valley.  She continues to stand soaking up the elements, rising skyward.  Where does she go?  Smoke can take on so many different forms, and because I kick started the imagination yesterday; totally using my artistic licence today.   So what can you see?

Day 349 - Smurf trees.

Along the lagoon end of the Esplanade in Cairns may or may not live Smurfs.  A funny phenomenon has taken over the trees at night, they are turning; red, orange, green and especially blue.  Down the archway of trees leading to the marina, different colours sparkle, shadows dance in the breeze.  Birds resting high in the branches screech out a warning to those approaching. Ok, so Smurfs aren't real, and they aren't living there.  Neither the less they are really cool at night, trees that is.  Hey, you have to let that imagination work overtime at some stage. :)

Day 345 - Freedom baby.

The hand punches through the water.  It is Friday.  For some that is the best day of the week.  Work is done, dusted and it is down time.  To relax, recharge, and do the things you love to do.  It is still quite 'tropical' in the north.  The sun is set to keep shining over the weekend.  No excuses to get out and enjoy the outdoors.  So whatever you plans have a great one.  Enjoy. :)
