365 days = 365 photographs..rules of engagement; 1.I have to take a photo each day, no matter where I am and what I am doing. 2. Post it, when possible. Not all the places I will be visiting have access to the web; yes I know it is hard to believe but there are still some places like that exist, and they are amazing. 3. No photos from your film library can be used or posted..remember it isn't about the destination, but the journey that takes us there..enjoy. :)

Day 360 – Not many calories?
A friend posted a salty caramel Easter egg rocky road. For the love of cooking it wasn’t a question of would I make it, but when. Easter bunny gathered all the chocolate, caramel eggs, marshmallows, brazil nuts, cranberries, pistachio nuts and put it all together, with pinch of salt on top hence the salty caramel. So wondering if Easter is like Christmas and calories don’t count? Or I’ll just stay in my dream world (for next two days) pretending to myself it contains 3 food groups; dairy, fruit, protein, so got to be good for you. :) PS: Recipe came from Not QuiteNigella Blog if you want to check it out, my added extra crushed pistachio nuts on top. :)

Day 334 – Coffee..coffee…coffee.
Whether it is your heart starter in the morning, or it is your afternoon pick up. Legend has it your heart starter may have originated in the Ethiopian highlands, after it was noted by Kaldi. His goats where high in spirits after eating the coffee berry and would not sleep at night. So he reported it to abbot at the local monastery where berries where brewed into a drink and kept him alert for long hours of evening pray. He then relayed it onto other monasteries’ and the secret whispers found their way to the Arabian peninsula; the rest they say is history.

Day 316 – Cupids arrow.
Today is one of those days, you either love or you hate; Valentine’s Day. For other’s it is a bit of a money spinner. Whatever you think you can’t deny that love is a beautiful thing. When you are blessed with it, hold on to it. If it hasn’t knocked on your door, don’t be afraid to let a little out. Yes, there is always that risk of being hurt, but love outweighs the fear. You can say it with words, flowers, or fruit; but hope you all get to share the love today and every other day too. Xoxo :)

Day 313 – Flamin’ torch.
Red flaming torches are popping up in gardens. Sunbirds are cruising in for desert in the afternoons. Humans can also eat them as well, as their ginger root cousins. One of the folklores, or myths about the ginger root is they can give fiery protection and heats up love and money spells. Maybe something to consider for 14th. :)

Day 311 - Gōng Xǐ Fā Cái.
Happy New Year to all. Chinese New Year also known as Lunar New Year celebrations on the first full moon in the northern hemisphere spring. Celebrated worldwide now, they continue for 15 days with full moon rising again. Many traditions take place over the festivities. Wearing a red scarf will keep away evil spirits and bad fortune. Giving of red envelopes to family and friends gives them good luck and prosperity. Cairns had its own festive celebrations in the city. With many people coming down to celebrate all things Chinese. With a little multiculturalism thrown in the mix. May the year ahead bring you good health and fortune in the Year of the Snake.
