It is not only the wildflowers and landscape that are flourishing in the outback after all this influx of water. The birdlife seems to have taken off, and it appears to be the mating season, and aren’t they taken advantage of that. Nature at its best was going off today, and camped beside Coopers Creek SA, we spent the morning taking in the sights of the creek. It just so happened that about the only four trees around us had wild budgies in them and I’ve been trying to snap one of these little guys in the wild all trip. Finally, hit pay dirt, and got two. Now I’m not going to say what happened after this shot but let’s just say they were both very happy, and love is very much in the air. Oh, and we still have that rotten little mouse despite emptying the car (all contents) twice, alright!
365 days = 365 photographs..rules of engagement; 1.I have to take a photo each day, no matter where I am and what I am doing. 2. Post it, when possible. Not all the places I will be visiting have access to the web; yes I know it is hard to believe but there are still some places like that exist, and they are amazing. 3. No photos from your film library can be used or posted..remember it isn't about the destination, but the journey that takes us there..enjoy. :)
