This beautiful heron was on the banks of one of the many tiny estuaries off Trinity Inlet, near the Edmonton boat ramp. It was a very low tide and a fisherman there informed me I was unlucky (or lucky) that didn’t see croc sunny himself on the bank, a 4 foot one. Because he is usually there, today, however; he must have had a prior engagement. Might have to catch him another day. So I’ve taken a bit of artistic licence today, because we are gearing up to the weekend, slowed things down a bit, as the heron took off from the bank, to land on Mr Croc’s sandbank. Have a great weekend.
365 days = 365 photographs..rules of engagement; 1.I have to take a photo each day, no matter where I am and what I am doing. 2. Post it, when possible. Not all the places I will be visiting have access to the web; yes I know it is hard to believe but there are still some places like that exist, and they are amazing. 3. No photos from your film library can be used or posted..remember it isn't about the destination, but the journey that takes us there..enjoy. :)
