So it begins....Day One; Easter Rain Cairns

Day 1 - Over the past five days in Cairns we have had 150mm of rain (5 and a bit inches in the old scale). Instead of visitors getting cabin fever, and staying inside eating too many eggs. Visitors still go out to the reef and islands by chopper. Well maybe, the eggs may go for the ride as well.  The after thought to this, was I had to start this project on one of the wettest days of the year.  The wet season may have been coming to and end, but it was certainly hanging around giving us all cabin fever..
