Wow, it was an early start at 5.15am, ok so I know that isn’t for some, but a night owl like me, it is still pj time. It was; however, time to hit Kings Canyon, and when faced with the uphill walk for 30mins, I had flash backs to the Pyramid, but only lasted ½ hour….so that was great. Kings Canyon is a remarkable part of the NT and when I last visited in ’88 I was on a Contiki tour, so it was a little different today (I’d actually slept the night before). Before the sun rose up over the canyon walls, my two lovely travelling companions Val and Maureen stopped to have a chat and the silhouette’s of the rocks and trees, just sung out to me. It really does show how small we are in comparison to Mother Nature.
365 days = 365 photographs..rules of engagement; 1.I have to take a photo each day, no matter where I am and what I am doing. 2. Post it, when possible. Not all the places I will be visiting have access to the web; yes I know it is hard to believe but there are still some places like that exist, and they are amazing. 3. No photos from your film library can be used or posted..remember it isn't about the destination, but the journey that takes us there..enjoy. :)
