The metro system in Hong Kong is one of the easiest to get around, cheap, and well sign posted in both Chinese and English. An hour on the metro including changes from Hong Kong Island leads you to Lantau Island. An amazing cable car ride takes about 20 minutes up through three stations, and you reach the Giant Buddha and Po Lin Monastery. Some of the cable cars have ‘crystal clear’ floors, and it is quiet a freaky sensation looking down through the bottom of the car at water, boats, mountains, waterfalls, walking tracks. It is a long way down but a great view may skip it when a gentle sea breeze comes in though!
365 days = 365 photographs..rules of engagement; 1.I have to take a photo each day, no matter where I am and what I am doing. 2. Post it, when possible. Not all the places I will be visiting have access to the web; yes I know it is hard to believe but there are still some places like that exist, and they are amazing. 3. No photos from your film library can be used or posted..remember it isn't about the destination, but the journey that takes us there..enjoy. :)
