Nestled in the top part of the Flinders Rangers you don’t have to be in the National Park to see the splendour of this location. Near Blinmen (highest town in SA) is the Glass Gorge, found on a dirt, windy road about 15km from town. It cuts through the valley and left behind is slate like rock (sorry I’m no geo) that is stacked up along the banks and very brittle when the water runs through and snaps off, leaving it on the river bed below. There are some awesome patterns in the rocks and it would be some force of water to break them off because I can stand on them and they didn’t crumble, so that has to say something.
365 days = 365 photographs..rules of engagement; 1.I have to take a photo each day, no matter where I am and what I am doing. 2. Post it, when possible. Not all the places I will be visiting have access to the web; yes I know it is hard to believe but there are still some places like that exist, and they are amazing. 3. No photos from your film library can be used or posted..remember it isn't about the destination, but the journey that takes us there..enjoy. :)
