After our night at Farina, surviving the dust cloud, gale force winds, thumb jammed in car door, and a mouse in our car. We settled down to the peaceful waters of Muloorina Station Waterhole. The station sits on the edge of Lake Eyre South and there is public access road right out to the edge, to the National Park. There is still water in the lake, although from ground level it was just a tad far to walk out too. Around the station waterhole, the birdlife is staggering and with no wind or dust I have to say it was pure bliss. If our night at Farina was what current station owners and pioneers of past endure(d), amazing is all I have to say. We still seem to have an extra passenger though. Even after we thought we’d ditched him, with a total strip down of the car. Mmmmm guess will have to do a bit more investigation…stay tuned.
365 days = 365 photographs..rules of engagement; 1.I have to take a photo each day, no matter where I am and what I am doing. 2. Post it, when possible. Not all the places I will be visiting have access to the web; yes I know it is hard to believe but there are still some places like that exist, and they are amazing. 3. No photos from your film library can be used or posted..remember it isn't about the destination, but the journey that takes us there..enjoy. :)
