When the rain started falling down last night, I thought it isn’t going to be fun day stuck on an island in the rain all day. This morning, still raining, however, as we cruised over the lumpy sea on the “Big Cat” blue sky shone over the island and stayed like that the whole day, while clouds covered Cairns and her mountains. I haven’t been to Green Island in well years, not going to tell you how many because that is just embarrassing, a lady never reveals her age ha ha. Gone are the sand paths that you use to walk on, replaced with boardwalks, paved pathways, shopping district with hotel, and heli-pad. One of the great things about it even though there were a lot of people on the island you never seemed to bump into anyone. You could found your own piece of paradise and pretend to be Robinson Crusoe for just a moment. This is one I found. Then on cue, as the ropes were released, the rain started again as we headed for home after a great day.
365 days = 365 photographs..rules of engagement; 1.I have to take a photo each day, no matter where I am and what I am doing. 2. Post it, when possible. Not all the places I will be visiting have access to the web; yes I know it is hard to believe but there are still some places like that exist, and they are amazing. 3. No photos from your film library can be used or posted..remember it isn't about the destination, but the journey that takes us there..enjoy. :)
