Do you recall your parents saying to you ‘it’s for your own good”? It really doesn’t matter what age you are. That saying still keeps in your head whether they are around you or not. Gee, I must have had it said to me a bit, for me to recall so easily – just joking. Our life savers on our beaches around Australia, and also on the river in Mildura believe it or not, do a fabulous job protecting us from our own silliness. Some of us make their job harder and some of us ‘swim between the flags’ because that is the best and safest place to swim on our beaches, where patrolled. Our life savers here in the north, have an extra job of dragging the stinger nets, each morning during the stinger season. Also, keeping a little eye out for the snappy hand bags. So don’t forget next time you see one of our Life Savers on the beach, say thanks, and don’t forget to swim between the flags.
365 days = 365 photographs..rules of engagement; 1.I have to take a photo each day, no matter where I am and what I am doing. 2. Post it, when possible. Not all the places I will be visiting have access to the web; yes I know it is hard to believe but there are still some places like that exist, and they are amazing. 3. No photos from your film library can be used or posted..remember it isn't about the destination, but the journey that takes us there..enjoy. :)
