Took advantage of 5 day pass today, and went back to the dome, above the casino. To see what my new friends were up to. You know I think some days I walk around with my eyes closed. Today, I discovered the very cute Red-legged Pademelon, small rainforest wallaby and his cousin just happens to be a kangaroo. They only live in the rainforest, and are very shy, little guys. Tend to have a few predators such as dingoes, pythons etc as well, so they are very wary and secretive. Never played peek-a-boo with a Pademelon before, this little guy was making sure I had learnt that lesson in patience. Although, you don’t mind hanging out with someone this cute. So next time you are walking through the rainforest keep your eyes out, especially early in the morning and late in the afternoon, you might just find one of these fellows.
