After being inland for three and a bit weeks and not getting caught with the roads again. We decided to head for the coast and beach hop our way home. We were heading for Blancoe Falls. However, discovered the road that accesses them from coastal side is now closed until further notice. The only access is via Mount Garnet, so that one was too big of a detour at 4.30pm in the afternoon, after travelling all day. So we did the next best thing and took advantage of some of the great beaches not that far from home. Our home for the next few days Cowley Beach only 26km south of Innisfail and the beach stretches for miles and just catches glimpses of Dunk Island. The only store here is the Caravan Park, just a few houses. We are right on the beach so really can’t ask for more, and full moon is approaching. On the mouse front, he hasn’t been around still, so think we are definitely on a winner there. Nice to see him, but nice to see him go at whatever town he decided to catch a ride too. We are thinking Mungerannie, or Birdsville Track the bumps and water might have just been a wee bit too much.
365 days = 365 photographs..rules of engagement; 1.I have to take a photo each day, no matter where I am and what I am doing. 2. Post it, when possible. Not all the places I will be visiting have access to the web; yes I know it is hard to believe but there are still some places like that exist, and they are amazing. 3. No photos from your film library can be used or posted..remember it isn't about the destination, but the journey that takes us there..enjoy. :)
