Penglai took about three hours of travel time on the bus today and it lead to a very famous tourist attraction, in the Shandong Province, Penglai Pavilion and the eight immortals passing across the sea. The Penglai Pavilion was built in 1041, and the walls line an incredible coast line. The weather was a wee bit foggy so instead of the scenery had to concentrate on the smaller things, and with the great light coming in this doorway, that was at the top of the hill, hard to resist. Taking in the age of the place it blew away the senses of time gone past and who has actually walked through the old door and the stories they could tell.
365 days = 365 photographs..rules of engagement; 1.I have to take a photo each day, no matter where I am and what I am doing. 2. Post it, when possible. Not all the places I will be visiting have access to the web; yes I know it is hard to believe but there are still some places like that exist, and they are amazing. 3. No photos from your film library can be used or posted..remember it isn't about the destination, but the journey that takes us there..enjoy. :)
