Once part of an inland sea that extended out to the Gulf of Carpentaria 100 million years ago, dinosaurs roamed and swam around this area. Hughenden, Qld located on Flinders Highway is a great town that has taken pride in promoting dinosaur way, and pioneer past. This fountain lies in front of the Diggers Entertainment Centre, formerly the site of Diggers Hall in 1958, bought for the memory of the districts returned servicemen and fallen. I’m also happy to report that after stripping the car for the third time (top to tail) it appears because we tried to feed our ‘friend’ the cheap cheese he has departed. We are hoping he departed us at Mungerannie SA, when we emptied the car and is now visiting his grey field mouse cousin. He was brown, yes, did have him in my sights at one stage, what can I say I’m no mouse catcher, and the boy has taste in cheese.
365 days = 365 photographs..rules of engagement; 1.I have to take a photo each day, no matter where I am and what I am doing. 2. Post it, when possible. Not all the places I will be visiting have access to the web; yes I know it is hard to believe but there are still some places like that exist, and they are amazing. 3. No photos from your film library can be used or posted..remember it isn't about the destination, but the journey that takes us there..enjoy. :)
