Latest News.....Chapter Eleven – February 2013.

Back home, and feet firmly planted in Cairns for the month.  The summer sun is beating down with all its force.  The usual build up that happens in late November, early December is on a late run and appearing now.  However, the rain is yet to fall, crazy weather, but makes for some great afternoon skies.  Although, going to be careful what I wish for, some rain in February would be nice.  Also, so you can see the area in a totally different light.  Fingers crossed.  :)

Behind the scenes....

Behind the scenes at Shwedagon Pagoda; the grounds are swept by a team spanning the base.  Magic dance of weaving in and out of the people walking around, praying, standing staring at the glory of the stupa rising high into the sky.

Chapter Ten - January 2013

A New Year dawns in a remarkable country called Myanmar.  Temples, sunrises, sunsets, star trails amongst the remarkable ancient temples.  A new chapter sees the journey continue through Myanmar, home via Bangkok, Brisvegas and then to Cairns where the wet season awaits.   It’s heating up in the north, so we will see what mother nature has in store for us towards the end of the month.
