How did it all come about?

Good question.  I could say, it just sprang from my imagination, but I can't take all the credit.  One Sunday afternoon on 5th April 2010, my gorgeous friend Jules and beautiful hubby sat on the back deck drinking Mojitos trying to work out a way to expose my photography to the masses.  They came up with 'A Year Through The Lens'.  So, the extra mint and lime helped too I think, but the rules of engagement were:  1.You have to take a photo each day, even if not posted that day, only those photos can be used.  2.  No photos from your film library can be used or posted.  3.  Then post them to your Facebook "Savannah Photography" page, for all to see.

It is getting a great reaction, but now I'm expanding on that idea and sharing it with new friends.  Let me tell you it has been and continues to be a challenge.  However, over the past few months I've been to some great places in Australia and China.  Also, lucky to live in Far North Queensland Cairns, so we have great places to take photos and didn't want to share that with a limited audience.

So over the next couple of days I will bring you up to speed; currently on day 160, so you can share in the daily photo too and really put me under the hammer to get a good one.  In the meantime you can have a sneak peak at my Facebook page Savannah Photography.  Keep watching this space......and enjoy the journey....here goes...
