What a beautiful dawn service on the Esplanade this morning. The sunrise was amazing, and the lone trumpet playing "The Last Post" always gives me goose bumps. Today's photography is a blend of two I took this morning, the sunrise representing the hour Australian and New Zealand soldiers hit the shores of Gallipoli back on 25th April 1915. The ghost image of a very proud WWII veteran that marched today in Cairns, representing the fallen, those who survived and those who still serve, to give us our freedoms today. Lest We Forget.
365 days = 365 photographs..rules of engagement; 1.I have to take a photo each day, no matter where I am and what I am doing. 2. Post it, when possible. Not all the places I will be visiting have access to the web; yes I know it is hard to believe but there are still some places like that exist, and they are amazing. 3. No photos from your film library can be used or posted..remember it isn't about the destination, but the journey that takes us there..enjoy. :)
