Day 280 – Solitude.

From the tranquillity of Inle Lake, peace of Kanlahgone village, serenity of temples in Bagan we find ourselves adjusting to city life again.  Yangon the bustling centre of Myanmar, formerly the capital but no more.  Cars take over from bikes, and groovy buses left over from colonial days take to the streets at a cracking pace.  There on the street corner, a monk finds his place.  A place for solitude, tuning out and collecting offerings from people passing by.  The cars continue to fly by, people go about their busy day, yet he still stands.  Yangon is a city of contrast from high tea, to market street food, it has it all.
