Day 36 – Sleepy town no more.

Tooradin Victoria
When I was kid, (only a few moons ago ha ha) we lived on a farm in SE Gippsland.  When we came to the big smoke to sell cattle, the treat apart from a jam donut at the Dandenong markets was fish and chips on the way home at Tooradin.  Living on a sheep and cattle property that was bliss.  A four lane highway goes straight through the town now.  Not quite the sleepy town it was but would you believe the same fish and chip shop is still there.  They were great fish and chips.  A tidal channel rushes out to Western Port Bay under the freeway and footbridge.  As the boats wait to be refloated from the muddy bottom ready for another days fishing.
