Nothing says tropics better than the frangipani flower. When the trees are in full bloom, a beautiful scent gets carried away in the wind. Basically all you need is the Moijito in your hand, beside the pool and you are set. In keeping with the massive Twilight theme of the current day, in Malay folklore the scent of the frangipani has been associated with vampires! In other cultures of SE Asia local folklore beliefs have the flower providing shelter to ghosts and demons. Eastern Africa sometimes they are referenced in Swahili love poems. Our Pacific neighbours use them in leis. If you wear one over your right ear you are seeking a relationship; the left taken, so hands off. It really is a beautiful flower of the tropics and now there are shades to take you away to paradise that little bit further.
365 days = 365 photographs..rules of engagement; 1.I have to take a photo each day, no matter where I am and what I am doing. 2. Post it, when possible. Not all the places I will be visiting have access to the web; yes I know it is hard to believe but there are still some places like that exist, and they are amazing. 3. No photos from your film library can be used or posted..remember it isn't about the destination, but the journey that takes us there..enjoy. :)
