With the early sun hitting the top of the mountains, shining down over the Inlet. The sandpipers were trying to get just one more minute of shut eye before their day started. Heads tucked back into their wings. Sunrise already creating the shadow lands. Forty winks are a priority. Even if the sun is just up there is always time for an extra snooze if you can.
