Day 172 - Fire Skies

Bushfires were blazing through Central Qld, as we continue to drive north to home.  Lake Murphy rarely has water in it.  Apparently only when the Robinson River is running at capacity the overflow comes into the Lake.  Where black swans, pelicans and other water fowl take over the waterways.  They take refuge as the sun sets over the horizon.  Staying safe from the fires, and things that go bump in the night.
