Well, now I have your attention; I have to admit even in the tropics the grey clouds occasionally come in during winter. Whether it is fifty shades of grey who knows? As the clouds drift above the cane fields and mountains of Cairns, the area takes on a new palette. Whilst it isn't quite get the heaters out kind of weather, with maybe the except of the Tablelands. It is a good excuse to eat the yummy 'winter' cuisine and read a good book or three. :)
