For the last couple of days a monsoonal trough has been sitting over the top end/tropics. Rain fell during the night, together with the clouds having a party (thunder) and showing off with some lighting in the wee hours. Rain continued for most of the morning; however, this afternoon the sun started to shine through. Clouds still wrapped themselves around the mountains as the sun slowly slides behind. Yes, the mould might be slowly building up in the cupboards, the air is heavy with humidity, and backyard is slosh. But one of the great things about staying in one of the many accommodation establishments, is that you can come back to a great pool to cool off. An air conditioned room, so you want even notice it when the cold beer hits your lips! So keep the tropics in mind for a different kind of holiday in the wet season, the sights are really remarkable, and you want forget it in a hurry.
365 days = 365 photographs..rules of engagement; 1.I have to take a photo each day, no matter where I am and what I am doing. 2. Post it, when possible. Not all the places I will be visiting have access to the web; yes I know it is hard to believe but there are still some places like that exist, and they are amazing. 3. No photos from your film library can be used or posted..remember it isn't about the destination, but the journey that takes us there..enjoy. :)
