Not only do we have more palm trees than you can poke a stick at here in the Tropics. Another big feature especially around the rivers is the amazing mangrove system. All sorts of wildlife love to hang out in the root system in the tributaries; mud crabs, a special nice tasting fishing Mangrove Jack, and a host of other sea creatures. Aside from keeping the young protected by their root system underneath the water, the also play a big part in helping erosion from the coastline when a gentle sea breeze (cyclone) comes in. So, they are pretty special part of nature to be lining our coast line just as the palms swaying in the breeze.
365 days = 365 photographs..rules of engagement; 1.I have to take a photo each day, no matter where I am and what I am doing. 2. Post it, when possible. Not all the places I will be visiting have access to the web; yes I know it is hard to believe but there are still some places like that exist, and they are amazing. 3. No photos from your film library can be used or posted..remember it isn't about the destination, but the journey that takes us there..enjoy. :)
