The heavens have definitely opened up, and in the last 24 hours in Cairns only we have had 100mm of rain (nearly 4 inches in the old scale). Forecast is that it will hang around until probably Tuesday. Now there always has to be an upside, and this is one of the great things about the wet season; no watering gardens, start that New York bestselling novel, and the waterfalls are going to be massive, so stay tuned. It is all about power today, as the off-shore ski races hit the Nard in full force. The sheer power of these boats, just makes you want to jump in and hold on. Ok so I love fast cars, boats, call me a Bogan really don’t mind. Hat’s off to the skiers holding on the back because that is not an easy thing to do, at speed. Or let’s face it at the best of times, regardless of speed but so much fun. So who one this battle, well……Rage, on that corner at least.
365 days = 365 photographs..rules of engagement; 1.I have to take a photo each day, no matter where I am and what I am doing. 2. Post it, when possible. Not all the places I will be visiting have access to the web; yes I know it is hard to believe but there are still some places like that exist, and they are amazing. 3. No photos from your film library can be used or posted..remember it isn't about the destination, but the journey that takes us there..enjoy. :)
