Creeping over the edges of bark, add water, and the moss comes alive. Slowly taking over the trees that are screaming out for sunshine, which they did get this morning but it was short lived unfortunately. The rain continues to fall so the moss has another sporting chance of a takeover of the trees. Guess that is why they call it a rainforest…now there is a thought! At least we had two days of almost blue skies, and mowed lawns or is that mowed swamp either way it is all good. The moss does make an attractive addition to the tree and over the years has had very special uses; first aid dressing to wounds in WWI, Finland used it to make bread in famine times, and in UK a certain type that grows by the rivers was used to put out fires because of the water it retained. All that packaged in a little wee plant. Goes to prove good things do come in small packages.
365 days = 365 photographs..rules of engagement; 1.I have to take a photo each day, no matter where I am and what I am doing. 2. Post it, when possible. Not all the places I will be visiting have access to the web; yes I know it is hard to believe but there are still some places like that exist, and they are amazing. 3. No photos from your film library can be used or posted..remember it isn't about the destination, but the journey that takes us there..enjoy. :)
