There is such a great feeling when you are going to the airport to discover new places and adventures. The anticipation of what you will see when you get there. Best of all going with no expectations whatsoever, so either way you have to be surprised. We left this morning to rain in Cairns, and arrived at the other end of the country Melbourne, to the heavens still pouring the rain out. So what do you do when it rains, nothing but get out there and enjoy it, because it is a new destination and things to see. From Melbourne we headed for the Southern Grampians (North West Victoria) got the key to our bluestone cottage, brollie and camera in hand, and out you go. Don’t let the rain stop you. So this is our view for the next couple of days, hoping the weather will improve, and if it doesn’t will be getting totally creative with the camera. We are currently looking out to Mt Surgeon, and even though it may be covered in mist and rain, it is looking pretty good. Here is hoping for tomorrow, can’t wait to sit out at the table and chairs overlooking the mountain with cheese in one hand, and red drink in the other. Sometimes, no matter where you are you just have to go with the flow.
