Water Lily leaves (try saying that 10 times fast :)) always remind me of Kermit's feet when the flowers themselves are not on show. The leaves are wax coated so if it was Kermit's feet no wonder he is such a good dancer. Gliding along the floor. Long steams, that emerge from the mud have many air spaces in them, so they float to the surface, and uncurl on top of the water. A pretty cool plant indeed. :)
