365 days = 365 photographs..rules of engagement; 1.I have to take a photo each day, no matter where I am and what I am doing. 2. Post it, when possible. Not all the places I will be visiting have access to the web; yes I know it is hard to believe but there are still some places like that exist, and they are amazing. 3. No photos from your film library can be used or posted..remember it isn't about the destination, but the journey that takes us there..enjoy. :)

Day 164 - Soar high.
Ok, so apart from the 'dry' trees, pelicans always offer a great challenge. This is probably a tell tale sign of age but 'Storm Boy' was a favourite when I was a kid and I cried when Mr Percival was released, but he came back which is 'all good'. It always fascinates me that you can be hundreds of kilometres from the coast and they show up in the abundant waterways. In their family groups, and just hanging out with their mates. Lake Eyre is also a breeding ground for them and that is approx 1000km from the ocean. Amazing stuff.
