365 days = 365 photographs..rules of engagement; 1.I have to take a photo each day, no matter where I am and what I am doing. 2. Post it, when possible. Not all the places I will be visiting have access to the web; yes I know it is hard to believe but there are still some places like that exist, and they are amazing. 3. No photos from your film library can be used or posted..remember it isn't about the destination, but the journey that takes us there..enjoy. :)

Day 181 - Beauty behold.
In Greek mythology, the Orchid was a outcome after Orchis. Let's just say he was maybe not the best in his time. Son of a nymph and satyr. He got a little out of control at a feast, attacking a princess. His punishment, well, he didn't survive the attack of the beasts. Metamorphosed into a slender and modest plant we know as the Orchid. A flower of beauty, elegance and luxury are some of the associations of this modern day wonder. Back in Ancient Greek times though a women could eat the orchid roots to determine the sex of her unborn child. Karma certainly has a different way of working sometimes!
