The world of Queensland may have been spun on the axis of ‘down you go’ over the last couple of months. Mother Nature has thrown us huge floods in Central Queensland before Christmas. Early January she engulfed her vehemence on South East Queensland with devastating floods and lives lost. Now not to be left out of the loop, she decided to throw a Category 5 Cyclone Yasi to the Far North only a week and a half ago. Her trail; a mass of property destruction once more and peoples’ lives left in disarray. The big M may have turned us upside down, it hasn’t beaten us yet. With the help of some unbelievable emergency personal, volunteers and service employees, plus a host of others, things are getting back to normal. What we need now is for people to come back to Queensland and have an adventure, holiday or both. Boast the small business’ back up and start to get things right side up again. So come on up, over, and across the weather is hot, the reef is waiting for you to find Nemo. There are plenty of grand adventures waiting all over the state. Don’t forget those awesome outback towns too, you may find a character or two there. Who knows it could lead you to write the next top best-selling novel.
365 days = 365 photographs..rules of engagement; 1.I have to take a photo each day, no matter where I am and what I am doing. 2. Post it, when possible. Not all the places I will be visiting have access to the web; yes I know it is hard to believe but there are still some places like that exist, and they are amazing. 3. No photos from your film library can be used or posted..remember it isn't about the destination, but the journey that takes us there..enjoy. :)
