Walking along the wharf was a hive of activity at the marina this afternoon. Cast nets were being through, fish being caught, helicopters coming and going, boats heading out on the island hop, and reef trips. Then you come to million dollar row and all the game fish boats are in at the moment too. There certainly are amazing boats/ships there at the moment, and no matter the cost it is the humble rope that secures them to their berth. Granted on the bigger ships more ropes are required, but it is the rope that ties it all in and keeps them tightly tucked in for the duration of their stay in port. Coiled beside the bollards ready to cast off on the next adventure or just clumped in a pile for a quick escape. I’m sure if the ropes could talk they could share some adventures with us, at the moment we just have to be content to make our own up.
365 days = 365 photographs..rules of engagement; 1.I have to take a photo each day, no matter where I am and what I am doing. 2. Post it, when possible. Not all the places I will be visiting have access to the web; yes I know it is hard to believe but there are still some places like that exist, and they are amazing. 3. No photos from your film library can be used or posted..remember it isn't about the destination, but the journey that takes us there..enjoy. :)
