The Wet Season is descending upon us, and before the wet hits, we tend to call it the ‘Mango Season’. Everyone goes just a little troppo before the big wet hits. With hot/humid steamy days, the mornings are sunshine and heat with the clouds building up over the afternoon. Now in Cairns we don’t tend to get the magnificent lighting storms that Darwin and some of the top end get, because of our mountain range. We do get them, just not as often. However, with the cloud build up in the afternoon it makes for a pretty cool site. With a bit of luck it will rain this evening and cool things off again. If not it will do it all again tomorrow…happy mango season!
365 days = 365 photographs..rules of engagement; 1.I have to take a photo each day, no matter where I am and what I am doing. 2. Post it, when possible. Not all the places I will be visiting have access to the web; yes I know it is hard to believe but there are still some places like that exist, and they are amazing. 3. No photos from your film library can be used or posted..remember it isn't about the destination, but the journey that takes us there..enjoy. :)
