Another beautiful morning in the tropics on the northern beaches, even with the onset of fatigue from the night before, got to love the festive season. The beach was a welcomed site this morning. There is nothing like blue skies, palm trees, sand between your toes and a really strong coffee to get you going for the day. The island to the right is Double Island, and you can go out there from Palm Cove which is just on the left. A 10 minute ride in a private launch will get you to there. Prices for the Double Island Villa start from $595 per night, with a 3 night minimum stay. You would be very relaxed at the end of your stay. Or exclusive rights to the whole island, a steal at just $33,000 for the first night; discounted rate after that. You and close 40 friends could go over and have a blast. In the meantime maybe we all better put in that lotto ticket for the big one on New Year’s Eve and then you can celebrate in style. Just have to get through the festive season first.
