Another perfect morning in the tropics; sun beating down, skies electric blue, and great day to be alive. On the Nard off shore ski racing was a cool site to see. Great excuse to sit down and take in the roar of the engines; fast boats speed past with the skier’s attached hanging on. Now skiing in this neck of the woods gives you added incentive to hang on. One; crocs, two; it is stinger season, and three; well do you really need a three, isn’t that incentive enough. With the vibrations in the water from the engines, I’d nearly bet, it is fair to say it would keep away the snappy handbags, and when suited up a stingers lash not so bad. Go the hard core skiers I say, very skilled indeed. I couldn’t help but capture this skier thought he summed it up pretty good, why dump me in the ocean when there is a nice sandy landing just 300m away!
