One of the things I miss about living in Karumba (in the Gulf of Carpentaria, QLD) is the spectacular sunsets. It was great to go out and sit on the beach with fish and chips, watch the sun sink slowly into the ocean. Then smile as tourists left, as soon as it disappeared into the sea. Not waiting for all the beautiful colours to show about 10 minutes later. So visiting Darwin had to get in a couple of sunsets, to keep my habit in check. We do have them here in Cairns, but they tend not to happen as regularly as they do on the west coast, and top end. I have heard around the traps we have some awesome sunrises. So maybe I better work on that one for you. The challenge will be for this night owl to get out of bed, always up for a good challenge though.
365 days = 365 photographs..rules of engagement; 1.I have to take a photo each day, no matter where I am and what I am doing. 2. Post it, when possible. Not all the places I will be visiting have access to the web; yes I know it is hard to believe but there are still some places like that exist, and they are amazing. 3. No photos from your film library can be used or posted..remember it isn't about the destination, but the journey that takes us there..enjoy. :)
