Day 306 – Gumnut babies.
The tales of Snugglepot and Cuddlepie was on
the top of favourite story book list to read.
Taking you on a magical adventure in the imaginary world of the gumnut
babies. May Gibbs first book of the
babies was first published in 1918.
Amazing to think a beautiful story written nearly 100 years ago is still
on the book shelf. With the changing
world of ‘eBooks’’ I hope kids continue to enjoy this story for many more years
to come. Life is pretty boring if you don’t
let your imagination run away every now and again. :)
