Off the main road to Cape Tribulation a
sneaky road to the right leads you through the cane fields. Winding back into the hills, the road narrows
further, a wooden sign saying Silky Oaks is the only clue, that an oasis is
hidden in the rainforest. Little tree houses pop up through the rainforest with
the hammock on the verandah beckoning you to hang lose and swing in the breeze. Dining
on the open verandah, the river continues to flow through the boulders. The clear mountain waters from the river heads
out to sea. It’s a beautiful place to
kick back at the end of the month, relax amongst the rainforest and be at one
with nature.
365 days = 365 photographs..rules of engagement; 1.I have to take a photo each day, no matter where I am and what I am doing. 2. Post it, when possible. Not all the places I will be visiting have access to the web; yes I know it is hard to believe but there are still some places like that exist, and they are amazing. 3. No photos from your film library can be used or posted..remember it isn't about the destination, but the journey that takes us there..enjoy. :)
