Happy Monday....hope you are dancing the Monday Blues away and it has been a great start to the week? If not you've got four other days :) Enjoy your week. :)
365 days = 365 photographs..rules of engagement; 1.I have to take a photo each day, no matter where I am and what I am doing. 2. Post it, when possible. Not all the places I will be visiting have access to the web; yes I know it is hard to believe but there are still some places like that exist, and they are amazing. 3. No photos from your film library can be used or posted..remember it isn't about the destination, but the journey that takes us there..enjoy. :)

Day 365 – It’s a wrap.
The very last day of 'a Year Through the Lens'. A photo taken each day, wherever I have been. Here in our own backyard of Cairns, QLD, Victoria, NSW, WA, TAS, China, Hong Kong, Myanmar, Thailand. It has been an adventurous year, and a year of many challenges. Australia and OS has many wonderful pockets to see and visit. Crystal Cascades only 20min from CBD nestled in the foot of the mountains is a beautiful place to hang out in the heat of the day. Light filtering in through the rainforest as blue dragonflies and orange butterflies pass through. Thank you for your wonderful support during the past year, your comments, and likes. It definitely helped to keep me going and get you something new every day. Now, it's time for a new project; so enjoy and big thank you. :)
Day 363 – Blending.
Sometimes it’s hard to fit a square peg in a round hole. Trying to blend into the background and not stand out is hard. Or actually fitting in with everyone around, and going with their flow a very trying experience. The best you can do is be yourself. If your colours shine, let them. It is inevitable there will be ones that don’t want to agree or go with your flow. That’s part of life. One thing though don’t let your colours dull through the thoughtlessness of others. Be kind to yourself and others and let those colours sparkle.

Latest News...
Hope everyone has had a safe and Happy Easter, and a little fellow called the Easter Bunny came to visit? Only three days left of a Year through the Lens to go. Safe travels if you have been away for break. :)
Day 362 – Copperlode Dam.
Cairns water supply comes from Copperlode Dam located up in the Lamb Ranges just west of the CBD. A long winding road heads from suburbia through rainforest, breaking out onto the top of the mountain range. It sometimes goes by the name of Lake Morris too, after city engineer Mr F Morris who was assigned to find a suitable area for new water supply, for the city in 1935. Once found and paperwork complete; budget was 3 million, by the time it was completed in 1976 it had blown out to 6.5million. It is a beautiful place to rest and relax, after a wee stroll up the hill. :)
