One of the things I love about walking around huge cities is getting off the beaten path, heading away from the tourist spots and going off road so to speak and explore the back streets and allies, you never know what you will come across. This morning I found a little photo gallery promoting up and coming Hong Kong photographers, and well known ones, as well. It isn’t a big gallery, only one room and the current exhibition features the photographer that capture Tiananmen Square when students revolted in China over 10 years ago. Just outside the gallery doors on the steep streets, was a very old door with carved stone dragons above that gave way to the crowded sky scrapers that Hong Kong is famous for.
365 days = 365 photographs..rules of engagement; 1.I have to take a photo each day, no matter where I am and what I am doing. 2. Post it, when possible. Not all the places I will be visiting have access to the web; yes I know it is hard to believe but there are still some places like that exist, and they are amazing. 3. No photos from your film library can be used or posted..remember it isn't about the destination, but the journey that takes us there..enjoy. :)
