Inclement weather abound, I guess there are still no excuses for getting cabin fever and not taking advantage of many great walks around the Cairns area. You can opt for an easy stroll along the Esplanade, or run if that takes your fancy. Now, if gardens, boardwalks, lakes and rainforest are more your thing, the Lakes and Botanical Garden district is a great place to wonder around for a few hours and take in the sights. This time of year there is plenty of shade there. If you would like to include some steeper tracks in your repour close to the CBD, just near the tanks is the Red and Blue arrows. It is a steep climb to the top but worth the view when you get there. Quite a popular spot early in the morning and late in afternoon too, for the super keen to run up/down and do the circuit. Regardless of where you walk, there are plenty of places around to get your 30 minutes a day in and get the heart pumping. As they say it is for the greater good, I think! I’m probably going to pay for that last comment when get back to exercising with my mates, oh well, it is all good!
365 days = 365 photographs..rules of engagement; 1.I have to take a photo each day, no matter where I am and what I am doing. 2. Post it, when possible. Not all the places I will be visiting have access to the web; yes I know it is hard to believe but there are still some places like that exist, and they are amazing. 3. No photos from your film library can be used or posted..remember it isn't about the destination, but the journey that takes us there..enjoy. :)
